Encountering God in Prayer: A Lenten Journey
Learn more about prayer this Lent. Based on the beautiful exposition on prayer in Part 4 of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. This course is both theological and practical, learning about the theology of prayer from the Catechism of the Catholic Church and focusing on a different practice of prayer each week. Course includes video lectures, online discussion, prayer exercises and other learning activities. Complete each week at days and times most convenient to you. Do as much or as little as you are able to do each week.
This course is for spiritual enrichment and faith formation. This course is for anyone who wants to grow closer to God through personal prayer. The course does not count toward catechetical certification but this learning will be useful to catechists and others who teach the faith. Participants do not receive a grade but those who complete the basic course requirements will receive a certificate of completion.
