Course Introduction

Want to know more about St. Joseph? This adult faith formation and spiritual enrichment 4-week online course will help you grow in your knowledge and devotion to St. Joseph.

Our primary texts will be Sacred Scripture and St. John Paul II's Apostolic Exhortation on "The Person and Mission of Saint Joseph in the Life and Mission of the Church" (Redemptoris Custos).

You will enjoy learning through short video lectures, readings, suggested prayers, online discussion, and other activities. Do as much or as little as you like each week. You can log on whenever you like -- find the time that is most convenient for you. You can access the course on your laptop, desktop computer, phone, or tablet.

The course begins October 26th, but you can log on early and access the Welcome Module to the course.

Welcome Module: Introduction to the Course and Orientation to Canvas Learning Management System

Module 1: The Annunciation to St. Joseph and his Response of Faith - October 26-November 1

Module 2: The Fatherhood of St. Joseph - November 2-8

Module 3: St Joseph as Husband, Worker and Contemplative - November 9-15

Module 4: St. Joseph: Patron of the Church - November 16-22

Course Instructor

Dr. John Gresham, the new Executive Director of the Institute for Catholic Studies and Formation has over 20 years experience teaching at such schools as Franciscan University of Steubenville, Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in St. Louis, and Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit. His teaching style is both informative and transformative, seeking to engage the head and move the heart.
